In consideration of Thirty Thousand dollars in gold coin being paid to me within two days from this date:

I engage to withdraw from all suits against Mr. T.J.L. Smiley & others connected with him and to discontinue interfering in any way directly or indirectly to their prejudice and furthermore will assign by bill of sale or otherwise the treasure belonging this accounting to $157,980.27 one hundred and fifty seven thousand nine hundred and eighty dollars and twenty seven centers for particulars of which see printed list.
